Satin Canvas has a slight sheen to its surface, making it subtle and soft. It is a preference for those who prefer images with a less contrasty appearance. I like satin over glossy because it has a more artsy look and feel.

Canvas: We use Urth canvas, the world’s first solvent canvas with archival certification by the Fine Art Trade Guild. Manufactured by the leading canvas supplier of award-winning digital inkjet canvas, Breathing Color® uses breakthrough technology of agent-free Fluorescent Whitening and Chromata white to create a canvas free of optical brighteners while still producing canvas prints with bright whites and true vivid colors that will not fade or yellow over time. With OBA-free Urth canvas, your print can hang in direct sunlight and remain fade-resistant and as beautiful as the day it was printed. The canvas has a built-in coating, which makes it moisture and abrasion-resistant, with UV protection. The canvas is durable enough to withstand cleaning by taking a damp cloth to the surface to remove dust.
Inks: We use UltraChrome GS3 HD inks, which have a wide & rich color gamut range. The inks are sprayed upon canvas, hence the “giclee application,” with extreme detail and vibrancy, thus creating a stunningly sharp image. Tested by Wilhelm Research, these lightfast, archival inks are designed to last 100+ years.
Wood: The wood used to create the stretcher bars for your print is made from poplar trees, which are extremely strong and stable.

"Solar Illumination"
This artwork presents a vibrant and symbolic composition centered around a group of stylized human figures holding hands in a dynamic circle; they stand high atop a stone block pedestal, rendered in vertical striped patterns of monochromatic metal with a slight blue and yellow tint, suggesting outward motion, unity, and the divinity within our humanity.
The background bursts with warm, energetic hues of orange, red, and yellow, featuring a large, radiant sun with a spiral center as a dominant focal point. Further emphasizing the soul's timeless nature of illumination, this image also features three more eclectic renderings of the sun: a rising sun, a setting sun, and a stylized depiction of a sun-like face with prominent eyes, a broad nose, and a tongue sticking out, framed by swirling lines and dots reminiscent of traditional indigenous or ancient cultural art, as the Aztec sun god purched atop a Mayan pyrimid; the radience of the setting sun over the red siluete mountains and the lines forming the steps of pyrimid both lead the veiwer deeper into the image. Other surrounding elements include geometric patterns and abstract shapes, a prominent citrus orange-slice motif like Sunkist, and a sculptural hillside sundial, evoking ideas of natural cyclical rhythm, time, and everlasting vitality.

The Tucson Public Art Project is a three-part series that celebrates the Old Pueblo's eclectic public art while tracing a path toward inner wholeness. Tucson is my hometown and a great place for others to visit, with its artsy sense of community from downtown and the mid-city out through the suburbs. I want locals and visitors to feel a jolt of recognition—"I know that corner!"—and then a deeper invitation to see themselves with more compassion, courage, and clarity.
Volume One — Interstate 10
An arrival sequence: as if you've just taken an off‑ramp into Tucson's open‑air gallery. This chapter explores perception and meaning—how we interpret what artists intended and how those intentions mirror our own stories. It seeks to uncover the intended meanings behind the art, from which each of us derives personal meaning. Note: Volume One is temporarily discontinued while I rework and clarify the compositions to the new standard set by my recent studies.
Volume Two — The Greater Tucson Area
A map of spiritual awakening that spans from Marana, Oro Valley, and Catalina Foothills, down to Tucson's South and East sides, and everything between. The Greater Tucson Area embodies many concepts related to this sacred process of psychological healing. Here I reveal the microcosm of the Self in relationship to the macrocosm of Divinity—the energies that guide us and the choices we create. Volume Two is actively being updated through the lens of the Seven Principles of Art & Design. Recently revised pieces include the neon embrace of Welcome to Tucson: The Old Pueblo, the drifting possibility of Dreams, the inward gaze of Introspection, the felt guidance of Intuition, the measured clarity of Logic, and the radiant guides Solar Illumination, Star Light, and Triple Supermoon Light—with more on the way.

The heart of Tucson. This closing chapter will ask what enlightens us, unites us, and keeps us uniquely ourselves within the whole of Divine Consciousness.
