When Religion and Government Mix: A Dangerous Recipe for War

Religion is fucking crazy. Or more accurately, religious fundamentalism is crazy—especially when religion mixes with government. That shit is dangerous. Just look at Israel, Hamas, and Iran. Israel’s so-called holy war and the genocide of Palestinians, and now the war with Iran, with the United States involved? Are you fuckin’ serious? That’s totally fucked.

Most People Don’t Want War

The truth is that most people anywhere in the world are just regular people trying to live their lives in peace. Odds are they don’t fully support the regimes they live under or agree with the religious ideology driving those governments.

Wars are what governments do—not civilians. And most civilians don’t support that shit either. I know I don’t. It’s fucking sad when people call themselves Christian and cheer it on.

You’ve probably heard the phrase, “We are all one.” It’s a compelling spiritual statement—but what does it actually mean in practical, psychological, and cultural terms? If humanity shares one underlying consciousness, why do we experience such profound division in politics, religion, economics, and identity?

On the surface, you are you and I am me—distinct individuals with different histories, values, and beliefs. Yet when we zoom out, patterns begin to emerge. Spiral Dynamics offers a developmental map that helps explain how both individuality and unity can coexist within an evolving system of human consciousness.

About the Series

There was a moment—quiet, almost easy to miss—when this series stopped being “art” and became a framework.

Like many seekers, I began with questions that felt both personal and universal:
Why do patterns repeat in life?
Why do some people seem to move with clarity while others feel carried by circumstance?
Is reality random—or lawful?

The deeper I studied Hermetic philosophy, the clearer the architecture became. The Seven Hermetic Principles were not abstract mysticism. They were structural laws—describing how consciousness operates, how perception shapes experience, and how the inner world becomes the outer one.

This series is my visual translation of that architecture.

Human life is a spiritual quest for the soul, whether one chooses to accept it or not, or is even aware of it or not; this is my great acceptance, December 2013, the realization of my first spiritual awakening. Please question it with open-mined skepticism, as you should with everything. I mean everything. We all come from different backgrounds of knowledge, viewpoints, and social programming. Who's to say one religion is more valid than another? Surely there must be some common ground amongst them all, both Truth and fallacy alike. Perhaps what matters most is the personal connection one feels with the Divine Love that genuinely exists for and as everyone and everything.

Source Consciousness is the fundamental plane from which all matter derives; we are each individuated consciousnesses of (God) that divine Source. There are many correspondences between the microcosm and macrocosm of self and the Universe, and between self and others. Like the synchronization of the left and right hemispheres of the brain and, by extension, the brain's connection with the heart, so is the integration of logic and intuition, along with grounded mysticism, needed for holistic psychological development and spiritual awakening. Likewise, integrating cultural perspectives of postmodern, modern, premodern, and prior is necessary for the general prosperity of humanity and all life on Earth.

An empath refers to a person who has a heightened ability to understand and share the emotions and experiences of others. It is often described as the ability to feel and absorb the emotions, energy, and even physical sensations of those around them. Empaths are highly sensitive individuals who can pick up on subtle cues, body language, and the emotional energy of the people they interact with.
